CFA’s Top Cats for the 2014-15 Show Season

The Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA) is proud to announce its best cats in the Championship, Kitten and Premiership competitive classes for the 2014-2015 show season.

CFA Cat of the Year

CFA’s Cat of the Year is GC, BW, NW Venizia Redsilver Surfer (“Surfer”), a Cameo Mackerel Tabby and White Male Maine Coon Cat, born on January 16, 2014.

Sufer’s breeder is Chuleeporn Namisiriwiwat of Samutprakaren, Thailand. His owners are Fion Cheng of Hong Kong, China, Chuleeporn Namisiriwiwat, and Jimmy Lee of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Championship competition is for unaltered pedigreed cats over the age of eight months.

CFA Kitten of the Year

The Kitten of the Year is GC, NW Kitties Land Main Event (“M.E.”), a Blue Female British Shorthair, born on May 5, 2014.

M.E.’s breeder/owner is Allen Shi of Shanghai, China. The Kitten competition is for unaltered or altered, pedigreed kittens between the ages of four and eight months.

CFA Premiership Cat of the Year

The Premiership Cat of the Year is GC, GP, NW Velvetkist Pack’n Heat of Krimpurrs (“Frankie”), a Cream and White Bi-Color Persian Neuter, born on March 31, 2010.

Frankie’s breeder is Noralyn Heisig of Reistertown, MD. He is owned by Beth Holly of Huber Heights, OH and Noralyn Heisig. Frankie took the highest honors at the Best-of-the-Best competition at the CFA-Dr. Elsey’s Precious Cat Litter World Championship Cat Show in Oaks, Pennsylvania this past November. The Premiership competition is for altered pedigreed cats over the age of eight months.

These cats will be recognized along with the other top cats in each of the categories, as well as the top 3 winners in each breed, at CFA’s Annual Banquet and Awards Dinner on Saturday, July 4, 2015 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
